The Morning Line – Jet Set Stars, a remixed fan favourite from their SF Bay Area back catalogue

Tuesday 20 October 2026

The Morning Line are indie rock veterans from the San Francisco Bay Area, and they've got one more single lined up from their new album STARS – a career-spanning collection of remixed older tracks and new material. The single is Jet Set Stars, out 30 October, remixed from its first appearance on the band's 2007 debut album.

It's pitched as an anthemic fan favourite that pulls together the band's usual touchstones – 70s power pop, 80s college rock and post-punk, 90s alt-rock, and a streak of Americana running through all of it.

Digging a song back out from an 18 year old debut and giving it a fresh remix for a career-spanning record says a band still proud of where it came from, and that's exactly the kind of history I like putting up on here.

STARS, the album that Jet Set Stars comes from, is out now on Big Stir Records, mixing the remixed highlights with all-new material.

Jet Set Stars is out 30 October and cleared for airplay and review now, with the full STARS album already out via Big Stir Records.
