Glazed Curtains – Fever, the first single from third album What I Meant To Say, ahead of a 23-show tour with LEAP

Wednesday 4 November 2026

Glazed Curtains have released Fever, the first new single from their third studio album What I Meant To Say, which is due on 9 April 2027. The single came out on 30 October 2026 on Tape Capitol Music.

The song is about inner tension, emotional overload and the feeling of losing control over your own body and thoughts. Lyrically, images of breathlessness, shaking and numbness run through it, and the press release says the music turns that pressure into a direct, modern rock sound. It was mixed by UK producer Tom Leach.

The release compares them to Highly Suspect, Badflower and Dead Poet Society, and describes distorted guitars, big choruses and emotionally charged songwriting. Fever is billed as a first glimpse into the band's next chapter.

A band heading out on a 23-show support tour with LEAP across Europe and the UK, with a third album still to come, is the kind of act I like to back early. I'm glad to put Glazed Curtains on here, and a song about breathlessness and losing control is a more interesting subject than most rock singles go for.

The four writers on the song are Matei Balasoiu, Constantin Kary, Julian Mathes and Maximilian Simak. The tour with LEAP runs through November and December 2026, before the album campaign carries on into 2027.
