New single out from Sauvageoness, called RD E|A – the first track to surface from a live album, Into the Deep Woods, due on vinyl on 30 October along with a film of the performance. It sounds like an artist trusting their own instincts – and that confidence really pays off. It's not chasing any trends either, it sets up its own mood and then invites you to step inside.
The live session builds on this year's earlier album A Maze Deep In (released in May), and the accompanying film won't go out on social media except for one short clip – the idea being that the film and the music are meant to be experienced together, as a single piece. There's a full listening party on Bandcamp on Tuesday 20 October at 9pm (CEST), where the artist will be online talking through the whole record with listeners.
Sauvageoness also has shows coming up in the South of France.
RD E|A and the album pre-order are on Bandcamp now.
