Manchester rock band Katie And The Bad Sign are out with a new single today called Gambler – riff based, in your face bluesy rock with Katie's distinctive husky vocals doing most of the work. It's a tight 3 minutes 33, and it's a clean release so no bleeps needed on air. It's got real teeth too – the songwriting is sharp and the band sound like they absolutely mean every second of it, so it's pretty hard not to get swept along with it!
The band have been building a name for themselves around Manchester's alternative scene for punchy guitars, bold attitude and a high energy live show, and they mix gritty riffs with catchy melodies and some sharp, honest lyrics along the way.
Gambler is out now (16 October). You can find them on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok (handles in the notes), or at katieandthebadsign.co.uk.
