Farang have released a new single called Lulu, and it's one I'm happy to point you towards. It came out on 2 October and it's taken from their forthcoming album Spacemaster, which is due in February 2027.
If the name is new to you, Farang used to be called The Mirror Pictures. Singer and guitarist Mark Taylor first got in touch with us back in June 2025 about their single Feeling Lonely, and we've heard from him for each release since, including The Fuming Man in February this year. So it's been good to follow the band along the way to the album.
I really like Lulu. I think the band have a lot of promise, and they keep coming up with some great melodies – that's what stands out for me across their singles, and Lulu carries on in the same vein.
Spacemaster is still a few months away, so for now there's the single to enjoy, and I'll be keeping an ear out for more from the album as it gets closer.
